It's time for some charming politics

Can Bollywood enlighten the politics with its glamour?

Writing about it a little late but a very important topic that needs to be discussed.
Taking a handsome margin Kirron kher, the well-known Bollywood celebrity, swept away
Crown of the city beautiful along with her.

Chandigarh, the pride of India, the city with the most planned architecture and with the highest per capita income is now in the hands of a Bollywood star for the next 5 years rather than being in any of the veteran political leader. Keeping involved herself in many social and nonprofit movements from long, Mrs. Kher has made it in her first time fray of the LOK Sabha elections. My sincere felicitations for the victory.
But the question arises here, is the city in safer hands now?

If we look upon the developments and build out of Chandigarh in recent years, it was only because of the continuous efforts of the noteworthy and influential Mr. Pawan Kumar Bansal that Chandigarh has become today the most preferred and cherished place to live in. The dense plantations, beautiful architecture, and the planned enactment of every law has made the city to be reported the cleanest city in India in 2010. The man behind all this furtherance, although suffering from a lot of bribery implications, has done much for the city till the end of his tenure. Moreover, according to some senior analyst, conditions would have been completely divergent if these scams were not implicated on Mr. Bansal.

And now, discussing third side of the picture, an eminent actor and also a social activist, Gul Panag gave a tough fight in the polls but lost ultimately. The broom power lost here too. May be the main reason was the inapt decision taken by AAP in Delhi which opened a pandora's box for itself, but the actor even after various rallies and efforts failed to blow away the hearts of the city's people. There is possibly a changeover happening and that too after a long time, so the people of Chandigarh must be in an overwrought condition.

Can Bollywood (which has not shown till now any remarkable achievement in the field of politics) this time change the history? Talking about Chandigarh and other majority constituencies together, which have now the Lotus flag waving on their walls today, some facts say that it was more of the Modi wave and not the individual performances of the candidates which gave them the triumph in these Lok Sabha elections. Kirron Kher also in her first time leads to an unbelievable victory mainly due to this widespread, striking wave led by NaMo.

The powerful tirades given by Modi, has benefited all the BJP candidates eventually.
But at last, the topic to worry about is the future of Chandigarh people who have longly addicted to congress customs. May be the glamour has vanquished the elite of Congress, but we have to foresee that if these cute looking dimples can win over the hearts of the "city beautiful's" people.
